Workshop on Variability modelling and mitigation techniques in current and future technologies
in conjunction with DATE 2012

This workshop will have three main sessions where the authors can send their contributions:

  1. Session 1: Variability at device level.
  2. Session 2: Variability at circuit level.
  3. Session 3: Variability at architectural level.

Important dates

  • Paper submission deadline: November 20, 2011 EXTENDED to December 2, 2011
  • Notification of acceptance: December 15, 2011 before January 6, 2012
  • Workshop: March 16, 2012

Submission guidelines

Prospective authors are invited to submit a 2-page abstract, including figures. Electronic submission in PDF format should be done through the workshop website (here).
Authors can indicate the session in which they would like to present their contribution in first page of the manuscript.

Submissions must not exceed 2 pages and should be formatted according to IEEE style (see:

Presentation form

Accepted papers will be chosen for a brief oral presentation (10 min), followed by a poster session.


Informal proceedings (in electronic format) will be distributed among participants.
Note that the Friday Workshop papers are NOT disseminated neither through the official DATE proceedings nor through any other formal channels, such as, for example, the IEEExplore or the ACM Digital Library.
